They remained on the NBC network week after week from 1926 through 1934. At one time the program was especially cited by NBC as being the oldest continuous weekly show on the network. The band dressed as Eskimos when performing before live audiences to advertise the nation's most popular drink of the 1920s-Clicquot Club Ginger Ale. Clicquot was the name of the Eskimo's mascot depicted on products and advertising posters. Barking Huskies were always a part of the Clicquot theme. Although advertising was banned on radio during much of the 1920s, Harry and the Eskimos always carried out the Eskimo theme. Clicquot was played to open every broadcast The recordings on this CD, feature hot jazz arrangements with predominant banjo work by Harry Reser.
