This band led mostly by Ben Selvin or Sam Lanin was assembled only for studio recordings. The arrangements are very lively and upbeat. All recordings were electrically recorded with robust sound. Jazz musicians that could be heard on the recordings were: Charles Kaley (vioilin), Ben Selvin (violin), Murray Kellner (violin), Earl Oliver (trumpet), Hymie Farberman (trumpet), Sam Lewis (trombone), Larry Abbot (clarinet or alto sax) , Andy Sanella (clarinet or alto sax), Hymie Wolfson (clarinet), Milton Sands (drums ) or Stan King (drums) Vocals were handled by: Franklyn Baur, Lewis James or Irving Kaufman The two CD set represent the majority of the recorded output by the Radiolites.
